The Show: The event was held on top of the ancient structure, with spotlights lighting up the models walking the ramp on the wall. It left everyone awe-stuck. 88 models walked the ramp to display the designers Fall/Winter 2007 collection.
2) The Holographic Fashion Show

The Show: This show definitely took our fashion industry to greater heights as it combined both the holographic and the real models. This 17 minute show, which presented Diesel's Spring Summer 2008 collection is a must watch, if you encourage innovative fashion.
3) Naked Showers On The Runway

The Show: the catwalk started with male model Rodrigo Rothen showering on the ramp. Though showering is not a very new concept but it helped a lot in creating an exciting atmosphere. Overall, the show was quite awesome.
4) Mankinis On The Catwalk

The Show: The concept of this show was very unique, the Mankini clad models on the ramp. Well, it is fine on the catwalk but all I hope is that this trend doesn't catch up soon with the men on the beaches. It will be awful.
5) Massive Hair Fashion Show

Venue: Paris Fashion Week
The Show: It was an event to celebrate Sonia's 40 years in the industry of fashion. Some of the world-famous designers came together with the massive hairstyles and knitted dresses, that gave a glimpse of Rykiel's style to pay a tribute to her work.
6) Peek-A-Boo Fashion Show

Venue: Paris Couture Season
The Show: This one was very interesting as there was a whole lot of sheer fabrics and elegant models. The main attraction of this event was that the dresses were made in a manner that they were looking translucent, giving an eyeful to the audiences.
7) Starbucks Debut On The Runway

The Show: The Main Attraction of this event was 'Starbucks'. We often see the celebrities and model hanging out with this brand of coffee but it was the first time that we saw Starbucks on the ramp. Quite Interesting!
8) The Animal Clad Fashion Show

The Show: It can truly be called as the animal clad fashion as the whole line was full of animal pelts and hides. Well, PETA would obviously have been disturbed by this show but I am very sure that the fashion freaks would have loved it.
9) The Medieval Style Catwalk

The Show: Stella's Fall/Winter 2008 collection took us back to the King Arthur's days as the models were wearing the medieval loose clothes and the set-up was even like that in the period movies.
10) The Punk Fashion Show

Venue: London Fashion Week
The Show: House of Holland's Fall 2008 collection was debuted at the ramp with the Punk theme. All the models were clad in different and unique outfits. Overall, the show was a success as they were able to justify the punk culture in their clothing.
11) The All Masked Models Fashion Show

The Show: Martin Margiela celebrated his 20 years in the fashion industry with a very unique catwalk. All the models in this show were masked with skin colored materials and wigs. Well, Martin is known for this kind of a fashion.
12) Witches On The Runway

The Show: Luella's Fall 2008 collection was certainly Halloween inspired and she even made her model Alice Gibb, walk down the ramp dressed in an attire of a witch. With mushy hair and extreme make-up, this show was definitely scary but stylish too.

The Show: This Rubbish Collection was indeed commendable as the designer Avsh Alom Gur had been collecting the trash from the London streets to design the Spring/Summer 2008 collection. The ramp sizzled with the models clad in sweet packets, plastic shopping bags and diet coke cans.
14) The Birdy Catwalk

The Show: It was a tribute to McQueen's mentor, Isabella Blow and the show was based on the theme, Birds. From bird-of-paradise silhouettes to wing-like capes and feathered details, the show had it all to dedicate to the creatures of the sky. In short, it was a delicate walk on the ramp.

The Show: Ok, the show didn't have the models walking the ramp but it instead had the real life prostitutes displaying different fashions in central Madrid. Well, these ladies were all clad in designer clothes and this show was to make people aware of their rights.
16) Real Gypsies As Models

Venue: Milan Menswear Runway
The Show: Westwood's spring/summer 2009 menswear Milan show sparked a controversy as he casted Roma gypsies to walk the ramp instead of supermodels. The models sported gold teeth and enormous medallions with rough looks, it was a very unusual show.

The Show: It was another very innovative take by the Designer Pierre Cardin, he made his models walk the ramp in a desert. The show was luxuriously exotic and the background was beautiful as well as mesmerizing.

The Show: The catwalk was decorated like a garden, the models walking between rows of foods, plants and herbs. There were the real shrubs and even the actual mud. The whole catwalk was giving a look of a farm.

The Show: The models walked the catwalk with strange and huge ball-like structures attached to their attires. Well, this show was one of its sorts as there was a whole lot of display of balls.
20) The Iceberg Fashion Show

Venue: Paris
The Show: The whole event was carried out in front of a giant, 265-ton glacier and the models walked the ramp all covered in fur. Well, PETA was obviously disturbed by this show but Karl didn't give a damn and it was a success.
